Gujarat Vepari Mahamandal Sahkari Audhyogik Vasahat Ltd. Establish in year 1961 by Late Shri Jaikrushna Harivallabhdas, and that times others industrialists and Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry. At that time so called basic necessary facilities like water, proper roads, street lights, sewage line etc. were not available in rakhial – odhav outer areas of India's Manchester (old ahmedabad).

In odhav area 144 acres land allotted, prepare sheds, loan permitted for industrial development despite the lack of communication sources and transportation.

We feel proud about Late Shri Hiralal Bagwati and Late Shri Popatlal Dani serve the organization as chairman-managing director post for many years. Basic necessities like water, proper roads, street lights, sewage line etc. also banking facility set-up on own without any help of government or municipality and now we are huge organization.

In Gujarat 1986, 1st water purification Primary Effluent Treatment Plant setup in sahkari organization for industrial polluted wastewater to protect environment. Then after years, as per order by Gujarat High Court in 1995 sadar plant upgraded and Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) setup. Vasahat's vent water purified then it goes to odhav kharikat canal of 3.20 km long H.D.P.E. pipe line through naroda-pirana pipe line.

GVMM's old office renovated with corporate style and all latest facilities in 2009 and done inauguration by Parliament member Shri Harin Pathak.
